The technical trainer of the ECAP School Center, Mr. Jakov Pekovic, was one of the speakers at the MITEF 2018 Conference (Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology Forum) that took place on December 12th and 13th in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade. This event was supported by Ferdinand Bilstein South East Europe, one of the main sponsors of the conference.
The MITEF 2018 Conference is dedicated to linking mechanical engineering and information technologies with the desire that engineers and IT professionals work together and to prepare for the trends such as Internet of Things, E-Mobility, Creative Industries, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Concept and others. The conference was attended by representatives of companies from IT and automotive industry, educational institutions in this field, as well as students of faculties of technical sciences.
On this occasion, our technical trainer, Mr. Jakov Pekovic, has held lectures ‘’Hardware, software and data for vehicles’’ and ‘’Vehicle as the data carrier and data-based diagnostics’’. In addition to these lectures, he was one of the participants in the panel discussion on the topic ‘’Whether the educational system conveys what the IT market needs’’, in which he participated as a representative of the private sector together with Mr. Igor Vukicevic from the company Star Import and professors from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Mrs. Mirjana Misita and Mr. Goran Vorotovic.
